Gülen Güler
Turkey


After working in the field of education for many years, Gülen Güler founded Yalan Dunya Films Ltd in 2002 in Istanbul.

She produced many award-winning feature fiction, documentary, and shorts as well as contemporary art video installations, screened in many international museums and art galleries.

She served as a board member and consultant for various art platforms and festivals.

She is currently co-director of the ‘New Turkish Films’ program and part of “A European Odyssey, James Joyce’.

She is studying sociology and writes children’s books.



 

Kiri Dalena
Philippines

 


Born in 1975, Kiri Dalena is a visual artist and filmmaker based in Manila and Mindanao, Philippines. Her artworks and films focus on injustices, social inequalities and human rights.

Dalena works both as an individual and in collectives, such as Southern Tagalog Exposure (active 2001-2008) and RESBAK (Respond and Break the Silence Against the Killings, 2016-present). She studied BS Human Ecology at the University of the Philippines Los Ba?ños and 16 mm documentary filmmaking at the Mowelfund Film Institute. She is the recipient of the Ateneo Art Awards (2009) and Thirteen Artists, Cultural Center of the Philippines (2012).

Her works have been shown in multiple exhibitions internationally, such as the Singapore Biennale (2013), Yokohama Triennale (2014), Fukuoka Asian Art Triennale (2014), Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art (2015), Busan Biennale (2016), Jakarta Biennale (2017) and the Shanghai Biennale (2018). Her works are in the collections of Singapore Art Museum, Fukuoka Asian Art Museum, Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art and the Ateneo Art Gallery.




Thaiddhi Dhi
Malaysia


Thaiddhi is a Filmmaker, Producer, and also Film Programmer. He studies Filmmaking at FAMU in the Czech Republic for 3 years master's degree program in Cinema and Digital Media.

His first short film “Awake” won Best Short Film at FAMU Fest 2009. He co-founded Wathann Film Festival in 2011 and worked as a Programmer for the festival.

In 2013 he founded Third Floor Film Production to produce Myanmar Independent short films and documentary films. He produced a short film Cobalt Blue (2019) by Aung Phyoe which was selected for the Pardi di Domani International Competition at 72nd Locarno Film Festival. He worked as a Cinematographer in the recent film Money Has Four Legs (2020) by Maung Sun, which was premiered at New Currents (Busan International Film Festival 2020).
